Volunteer

Join our amazing team of community members keeping the grass green, the drinks cold and the BBQ smelling great!

Volunteer at Cooks Hill

Our club is volunteer-run. Which usually means all of the work gets lumped onto a handful of good people.

We’re always looking for help running canteens, working on the ground and a thousand other jobs.

Volunteer jobs include:

  • Match day field set up & pack down
  • Coaching teams in Community competitions (Junior or Senior)
  • 'Green Team' pitch-surface specialists
  • Canteen helpers & BBQ chefs
  • Beverage slingers & snack dispensers

Who can volunteer? People of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Our Facilities

The home of Cooks Hill United Football Club is in the heart of Cooks Hill. Our Juniors, All Age and Women play at National Park on Union Street, while our NPL side's home ground is across the road at Fearnley Dawes Athletic Centre ('Athfield') on Smith Street.

Receiving major upgrades to the playing surface in 2021/2022, the home ground features an iconic grandstand, pro-level change-rooms, ample parking, accessible toilets and a fully serviced canteen.

Also receiving major upgrades to the playing surface (2018-2022), National Park is the home of our Juniors and District Senior sides on a Saturday, and hosts training for all sides throughout the week.
